Oracle Instant Client 23.3 packages for Linux x86_64
Along with the recent Oracle Database Free 23ai edition Developer release update, some Linux packages for Instant Client 23ai have been made available from https://www.oracle.com/database/free/get-started/ for applications to connect to Oracle Database Free.
Currently only ZIP files for the Instant Client 23.3 Basic, SDK, and SQL*Plus packages on Linux x86_64 can be downloaded. Our normal full set of production packages are planned for a later 23ai release.
What is Instant Client? It is a set of free, light-weight, and easily installed Oracle Database tools, libraries and SDKs. Oracle Instant Client enables development and deployment of applications that connect to Oracle Database.
